Overview
In a photographer's portfolio, the job of the design is not to be seen but to disappear. The visitor — a brand, an agency or a publisher — arrives with one question: does this photographer's work fit mine? What answers that question is the frames, not the interface.
So the site was built around full-bleed imagery with margins and interface noise cut to a minimum. The menu follows the photographer's own categories — fashion, portraits, travel, street, advertising and personal work — so a visitor goes straight to the gallery for the kind of work they need.
More than eighteen years of production, and an archive of over forty thousand photographs and two thousand video clips licensed through Getty Images and iStock, are stated plainly in the about section — the facts a working client reads, rather than a promotional paragraph.
The site is published entirely in English, since the audience is international brands and agencies rather than Turkey alone. On an image-heavy site the critical technical work is performance, so assets were optimised for size and loading order, and direct links were added to the Getty, iStock and Instagram profiles.

- Agencies find the genre they need in a single step
- The Getty and iStock profiles were linked into one flow with the site
Challenges
- Keeping performance under high-resolution imagery
- Distilling a representative selection from a large archive
