Overview
The 31st Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change meets in Antalya on 9–20 November 2026. A summit attended by dozens of heads of state and government means reorganising a city's traffic for days: split carriageways, hourly closures, convoy routes, vehicle restrictions and shuttle lines carrying tens of thousands of participants. GoCOP31 was built on behalf of the Antalya Governorship so that this information comes from one trusted address instead of scattered announcements.
The platform is built around the four questions citizens actually ask. "Which roads are closed right now?" shows live closures on a map. In "Which road should I use?", the user picks where they are travelling from and to — Burdur, Isparta, Alanya, Kemer, the city centre, the Lara-Kundu hotels, Serik-Belek or the airport — and the recommended alternative route is drawn on the map with step-by-step written directions. The restrictions section lists which vehicles are restricted on which road and when; the shuttle section lists stops and frequencies for 21 free lines grouped as express, bus, transfer and tram.
The summit site itself has a separate Green Zone guide. Fifty-seven venues — from congress halls and pavilions to thematic hubs and food points — can be searched by category, and for the selected venue a walking route is drawn from each of the site's three entrances with distance and time. A public announcement page for the Leaders' Summit days of 10–12 November presents split roads, Leaders' Road closure hours, airport access and a downloadable information poster in a single flow.
The site is published in Turkish and English; each menu item shows its current record count, so visitors can see at a glance that the information is live. Content is updated through an admin panel where Governorship staff can enter announcements, closures, routes and shuttle records without technical help.
